Nevada - Las Vegas, Land Only (no airfare)

Las Vegas has claimed the title of “America’s playground” for generations. And still they come. Yet it was not gambling that first caused people to settle in this pleasant little valley, but the Mormon Church, which first created a mission here in 1855. The Mormons’ first attempts at settlement failed, but gradually, as the Civil War ended and Indian raids no longer posed a significant threat, the tiny town once more began to grow. And so it continued until gambling was legalized in the State of Nevada in 1931. Today, Las Vegas is one of the fastest-growing cities in the US, spurred on in part by the low cost of living.

Treasure Island -
Treasure Island at The Mirage is a tropical, richly elaborate and very imaginative resort. It is located on the strip next to the The Mirage and the 2 properties are connected by a monorail system. Every hour and a half from 4 p.m.-10 p.m., guests must beware when they enter the main entrance of the Treasure Island as they could be caught in the crossfire of a full-scale raging sea battle between 2 life-sized ships.

Treasure Island recently received the 4 - Diamond Award from AAA for superb facilities and outstanding service.

Mexico - Acapulco, Land Only (no airfare)

Among Acapulco’s favorite pastimes are watching cliff divers make their death-defying leap into the sea from the La Quebrada rocks, strolling the seaside promenade in Old Acapulco and shopping in the colorful Municipal Market.

Acapulco has long been a favorite of the jet set. Set around a beautiful, crescent-shaped bay and backed by majestic mountains that tumble to the sea, Acapulco graciously blends captivating scenery with 24-hour excitement.
